That Theory's Suspect

Circles don't decrease, ever.
If they do, they're spirals,
and what appears to be the same
is not quite. Each time the hand
comes around, the battery's a little flatter,
the mechanism more worn
the wrist owned by someone
with a less time to live.
Nothing is ever the same again
There are no circles.
