There isn't any reason I can see:
It happens when I come out of my door
That silent men in glasses follow me.

They're always waiting there; I'm never free.
They can't want money from me - I'm too poor.

I wish they'd talk to me, or let me be;
I must admit it's something of a bore

They're multiplying. Last week there were three:
Today, I realised that there are four.
There isn't any reason I can see.

I've never seen them: one's behind that tree,
The rest are round the corner. But I'm sure
That silent men in glasses follow me.

They can't get in - they haven't got a key;
They'll never learn my secret thoughts. Therefore
There isn't any reason. I can see
That silent men in glasses follow me.
