We are advised

that on the day in question
one Moon, of no fixed abode,
was meandering in an erratic and
unpredictable manner across the sky.
Sun, who was proceeding according
to schedule, on an approved flight-plan
was in collision with aforementioned Moon
and suffered a temporary eclipse.

Recovery appears to have been complete,
but we cannot eliminate the possibility
that long-term injury may have resulted,
nor that the trauma of the incident
will adversely affect future performance.
